United Hearts for Social Economic Transformation

Growing up in rural Uganda, we witnessed the pain of poverty — children without education, girls forced into early marriage, families without food. These injustices ignited a fire within us to make a difference.

Transform a Life Today

About UHSET Uganda

UHSET Team in Community

Founded in 2021, United Hearts for Social Economic Transformation (UHSET) – Uganda is driven by a mission to address the root causes of poverty and its underlying challenges by equipping communities with the skills and resources needed to become self-sustainable and economically empowered.

We firmly believe: “When you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. But when you teach him to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” We don’t provide temporary aid — we build lasting transformation.

Based in Kyenjojo District, Western Uganda, we serve the Ruwenzori region and beyond — focusing on the poorest households, teenage mothers, orphans, vulnerable youth, women, and persons with disabilities.

Our Vision

To create a world where all individuals have equal access to opportunities for social and economic advancement.

Our Mission

Our Inspiration

We draw strength and purpose from God’s Word — guiding our compassion and actions.

Whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

— Proverbs 14:31

Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed.

— Psalms 82:3

The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

— Proverbs 22:9
